Jess

Jessica will often be the first person you speak with when you contact The SportLab.

As Office Manager, some would say, “She runs the show!”

Jess grew up in Orillia and attended Acadia University in Wolfeville, Nova Scotia where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology (2011). While at Acadia, she was awarded for her work in the community as well as for her contributions to the Kinesiology Program.

Last June, she was asked to present her thesis at the North American Society for Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity Conference in Burlington, VT.

Like everyone at The SportLab, Jess always has, and continues to be, active. She has participated in many sports including karate, soccer, rugby, running and in the pool – swimming (bronze cross), synchro and diving.

Jess completed her first triathlon in 2006 and has completed the Terry Fox Run the past four years.

After moving to Huntsville in the Fall of 2011, Jess registered for the Muskoka Ironman 70.3 and when not at The SportLab, can be seen out training as she prepares for the event in September of 2012.
